Today I was at the Women’s Health Day at the beautiful Beatrix Theater in Utrecht with Cydonia. This year’s theme was: Women’s Health in the Workplace.
Last year I attended this special event as a visitor. How wonderful that this year I was able to be there myself with a Cydonia stand.
We were warmly welcomed on the pink carpet, and the opening was once again impressive. A beautiful song, interwoven with personal stories from inspiring women, immediately created a warm and special atmosphere.
With more than 40 stands, there was plenty of attention for the many facets of women’s health. It was inspiring to see so much knowledge, experience and dedication brought together in one place.
Once again, Edna Dias was there to support me at our stand. Thank you for your help and for all the lovely conversations you had with visitors.
It was great to see many familiar faces again, and to meet many new women and healthcare professionals. It was also nice to see that a number of men were present too — because attention to women’s health is something that concerns us all.
A big thank you to Mariette Reineke, Mirjam Kaijer and all the other women who dedicated themselves to organising this event. You have once again delivered an inspiring, professional and valuable day.
Here’s to even more awareness, connection and attention for women’s health — including in the workplace.
