On Saturday 27 June, I was back at the Health Experience in Cuijk with Cydonia. It’s a day I look forward to every year, but this edition was just that bit more special.
For the first time, our son came along to help out at the stand. It’s remarkable to see him engage in conversations about vaginal health with so much enthusiasm. I regularly heard: “How lovely — such a young guy talking about this!”
Also extra special: this year, for the first time, my sister was standing next to me with Gentle Day. Several visitors reacted with: “What a wonderful combination!” and “How nice that you’re sisters!” I have to admit, that made me quietly proud.
Despite the tropical temperatures, it was incredibly busy. We spoke with plenty of pharmacists, drugstore owners and therapists again, and had some great conversations.
And as always, everything was arranged down to the last detail: a great venue, extra air conditioning, and even ice creams to help everyone cool down. Those kinds of details really make the difference.
